Adrian Stanciu was born in Brașov, is married and has a daughter and three grandchildren. He studied Pastoral Theology and took the dissertation exam at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Bucharest. He was a pastor and has served in several churches throughout the years.
Serving those in need became a lifelong passion, which is why he was involved in charity organizations such as: “Ecce Homo’’ in Cluj, the Barnaba Foundation in Oradea, the LOC Foundation in Târgu Mureș, The House of Hope HOSPICE in Brașov and others.
In 2012, he joined the Romania Without Orphans Alliance as one of the founding members. He was mostly involved in motivating and engaging churches in Romania in caring for orphans, as well as adoptive and foster families.
At present, Adi is Vice-president of the Board of Directors of Romania Without Orphans Alliance and leads the Romania Project 1:27.
