Liviu Mihăileanu has joined ARFO since June 2015 as a representative of the Alliance for lobby and advocacy.
Liviu is co-author of the first book on lobby in Romania (“Reglementarea activităţii de lobby. În anticamera influenţei“, Ed. C.H.Beck, 2009) as well as of the first study that highlights the opinions of the lobbyists, politicians and public opinion in Romania (“Lobby în România”, 2012). Having a 17-year expertise in management and legal advice, he has offered assistance on the conformation of the public institutions to regulations of the European Union and has developed major projects in the management of risk and conformity.
Currently, he is leading the operations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India of the management of knowledge department for a multinational legal advice company and is the co-founder of the “Tzuby’s Kids” Association which supports adoption and the placement of abandoned children in families.
Liviu is married and has two foster children. He and his wife are certified train for trainers by the ANC/CNFPA and members of the Trauma Consortium for ARFO. Since December 2015, they have held training courses on behaviour management in children with a traumatic history, as part of the Consortium. The courses are based on the TBRI methodology (Trust-Based Relational Intervention®), by Dr. Karyn B. Purvis and Dr. David R. Cross for TCU Institute of Child Development.
